San Jose Grand Prix

World class open-wheel racing returns to the streets of downtown San Jose with one of California’s largest and most anticipated sporting events.The San Jose Grand Prix will be so much more than a race. It’s a week-long festival both on and off the track. Activities include Speedfest, Pit Stop Park and Festival Areas with interactive games, live music, driver autograph sessions and more. Off-track events include a golf tournament, a drivers’ VIP party, the CXO Go Kart race and the Canary Fund gala fundraiser. All proceeds from these events are benefiting Canary Foundation. The Sainte Claire is an official sponsor of the event.

Rock and Roll 1/2 Marathon

As the Official VIP/Media Race Headquarter Hotel, The Sainte Claire is proud to support the inaugural Rock and Roll 1/2 Marathon.

The Start Line will be located at Santa Clara and Almaden, and the Finish Line will be located at the Plaza de Cesar Chavez in downtown San Jose.

Participants will proceed into the Finish Line Festival, which features live music, refreshments and food, and one well-deserved complimentary beer. Don’t forget – the Inaugural Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon San Jose takes place October 8, 2006 on the Columbus Day holiday weekend. You can stay and play an extra day!
